We so appreciate the tracts created by the Governing Body. They’re perfect little parcels of spiritual food that we can carry around with us anytime, anywhere.
Not only do we love reading them, be we also love using them to share wonderful bible truths with others in a bite sized form. We keep them with us at all times, so we are always ready if an opportunity to give a witness arises.
The tracts are so useful, but also very delicate. We can stick them in our bags, cars and purses but it’s easy for them to get wrinkled or damaged before we can use them.
Today’s printable/DIY project is a set of printable paper tract holders that you can use to keep your tracts snug, dry and safe until they’re ready to be used.
The project takes about 5 minutes to assemble and is a perfect activity for teens & kids to create their own little tract holder for the ministry. All you need is a printer, glue and cardstock paper. (Please don’t use regular paper for these, they won’t hold up well enough!) A package of cardstock is $5 or less for 300 pages and you’ll only need 2 sheets for this, so it’s very cost effective!
How To Assemble
Assembling these tracts is very easy. You first step is to cut out the templates.
Then you will want to fold on every white line and outer flap. You’ll have two
folded pieces that make up your tract holder.
As pictured above, the pieces of your tract holder should come together to form
one whole piece. You can see what the whole piece looks like when glued together below.
After you’ve glued your two pieces together, you’ll want to fold in and glue the
outer flaps as pictures below, to form your completed tract holder. Do both sides.
When you’re finished, they should look something like this…
For added durability, you can laminate the outside using clear packaging tape
(we used tape in the photo below, you can’t even tell!)
or you can use laminating paper if you want your tract holder to last a little longer.
