Welcome to DAY 6, the FINAL day of our week of Caleb and Sophia!
This week we released a free printable everyday with a Caleb and Sophia theme since the brothers have been so kind and loving in providing the Caleb and Sophia animated series for our young ones.
If you know a family with young ones who would love to participate in the giveaways or who would like to see all the printables we release this week, please refer them to our website so they can get in on all of the goodies!
This is the last printable of the week, but don’t forget to head over to our Instagram page to get more details on how to win all of the things we released on the site today already made for you!
Today’s printable is Sophia’s butterfly Pen and service bag! There’s not a lot of Sophia items when compared to Caleb, so we wanted to make sure to include this for all the girls out there that would love a butterfly pen of their own.
Assembly is quick and simple and these little paper butterflies are really sturdy for paper! The service bag is also adorable and can double as a cute party favor if you choose to use it that way.
How To Assemble The Bag
Start with all of the pieces cut out below!
Score all the white lines and the glue flaps so that they will be easier to fold!
Glue this flap to the front of the bag first. This will be the top flap of the front pocket!
Then attach the pocket as pictured below.
Now time to glue the bag together! Follow the photos below!
Now take the bag straps and loop them like this so that the color side is always facing outwards.
And glue them to the inside of the purse like so
How To Assemble The Butterflies
Start by taking the long rectangular piece and wrapping it around the pencil.
Glue so that the loop fits snuggly around the pencil. You might want to hold it for 30 seconds or so until it sets.
Snip off the excess and you should be left with this!
You can even slip some Elmer’s glue inside the tube to secure it to the pencil if it isn’t so snug.
Now moving on to the butterfly, score down the middle as pictured below, apply glue and fold in half.
Now cut out the butterfly after it’s glued. It will be SUPER sturdy and double sided!
Now score on either side of the butterfly and fold each side so that the butterfly’s wings are arched up!
All that’s left is to glue it to the colored tube attached to the pencil.
Hold for a few seconds until dry and you’re done! Enjoy!!
