Our C.O. Visits are always such an encouragement!
It’s a week of activity that is very exciting. The talks are always so encouraging, the association is wonderful and after the C.O. leaves there’s always a lot of leftover joy among members of the congregation.
My family and I always try to show our thanks to the C.O. and his wife with a special gift or card. We try to make it unique so that it’s a delightful surprise when they open it.
These brothers and their wives sacrifice a lot to help encourage and serve all of the congregations they visit, and they definitely deserve a lot of thanks for all that they do. That’s what motivated us to create today’s unique printable.
This is a Candygram. For those who may not be aware of what a candygram is, it’s a clever way of writing out a message to someone using delicious sweets. Some candygrams are very large and some are smaller but they all take a lot of work and effort to figure out how to use each candy for what word in each sentence! Thankfully, we’ve done the work for you in this colorful gift idea.
To start, you’ll need: (1) a white (or other color) posterboard, (2) 15 stick Extra gum, (3) A Sweetarts roll, (4) A standard snickers bar, (5) A standard mounds bar and (6) a standard almond joy bar. And maybe some glue or double stick tape to keep everything down.
To assemble: Line up the sentence phrases in a manner that allows you to fit them with the candy on the posterboard. You can align them very close together for a smaller candygram, or very far apart for a larger one. The one pictured is very spaced out.
Tack the phrases and candy on the board with something that won’t allow them to fall off. For a fun twist, fold a posterboard in half, fill with the candygram phrases and candies and then fold in half like a card and gift wrap.
You can give this to your C.O. when they visit your home or you can even mail it to them after they’ve gone. Either way, its such a fun idea and a great activity for kids & Teens to actively show their appreciation too!

I’ve been looking for a website like this for a long time.! Thank you for all you do! Question, would it be possible to have a card to give to those that are in hospitals or sick? or to ones that have lost a loved one?
