Getting Started How do I become a Friend of JWP?

A Friend of JWP is a free registered user who is subscribed to our newsletter. Becoming a Friend gives you access to download all of our free printables.

To become a Friend:

  1. Click the person-shaped icon at the top of the page.
  2. Choose Register.
  3. Enter your email address, choose a password, and pick a display name.
  4. Make sure the newsletter subscription option is checked. This is what makes you a Friend.
  5. Check your email for a confirmation link and click it to verify your account.

Once you confirm your email, you can start downloading free printables right away. No payment, no credit card, nothing else needed.

Getting Started Can I register without subscribing to the newsletter?

Yes. You can register a free account without subscribing to our newsletter if you just want to browse the site, leave reviews, or purchase items individually.

The thing to know: free downloads are a Friend-of-JWP perk, and being a Friend requires being subscribed to the newsletter. If you skip the newsletter, you can still browse, log in, and buy items one at a time, but you will not be able to download the free printables.

You can always change your mind later. Just resubscribe from your account settings and your free download access turns back on.

Getting Started What is the difference between a Friend and a Supporter?

Both are part of our community, just in different ways.

Friend of JWP is free. You get access to all of our free printables and you receive our newsletter. This is the best place to start.

Supporter is our paid monthly or yearly membership. Supporters get access to everything on the site (free and premium printables), no ads, and special perks like the 90-day printable archive. Your support also pays our JW Creators and Writers and helps keep the site running for everyone.

Most people start as a Friend and upgrade to Supporter when they want more.

Membership How do I become a monthly Supporter?

Becoming a Supporter takes about a minute.

  1. Visit our Join page.
  2. Choose the monthly plan ($15) or the yearly plan ($114, which works out to about $9.50 per month).
  3. Click the Become a Supporter button next to your chosen plan.
  4. If you are not already registered, you will be asked to register first.
  5. Enter your payment details on the secure checkout page.
  6. Confirm your subscription.

You will receive a welcome email with a quick tour of what you now have access to. Your full library access starts immediately.

Membership How do I cancel my Supporter membership?

You can cancel anytime, no questions asked. We are sorry to see you go but we never make you jump through hoops.

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Go to your Home Base dashboard.
  3. Click the Subscription section.
  4. Click Cancel my membership.
  5. Confirm the cancellation.

Important: your access ends the day you cancel, not at the end of your billing period. So if you have already paid for the month and want to use what you paid for, wait to cancel until closer to your renewal or expiration date. You can see your next billing date in the Subscription section.

After cancellation, your role returns to a Friend of JWP and you keep free download access as long as you stay subscribed to the newsletter. Your account, your favorites, your past downloads, all of it stays right where you left it. You can always come back.

Membership Where do I find my payment receipts?

All of your payment receipts and order history are saved in one place in your account.

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Go to your Home Base dashboard.
  3. Click the Orders or Downloads & Orders section.
  4. You will see a list of every transaction with the date, amount, and a link to download or view the invoice.

You also receive an email receipt every time a payment is processed. If you cannot find that email, check your spam folder or search for "JW Printables" in your inbox.

If you need a receipt you cannot find, write to hello@jwprintables.com and we will resend it.

Membership What happens if my Supporter payment fails?

If a payment fails (expired card, declined transaction, anything like that), we will email you right away so you can update your details. You usually have a grace period before your access is affected.

To update your payment method:

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Go to your Home Base dashboard.
  3. Click the Subscription section.
  4. Click Update payment method.
  5. Enter your new card details.
Membership What is the difference between monthly and yearly?

Same access, different billing.

Monthly: $15 per month. Best if you want to try it out or only need it for a season.

Yearly: $114 per year, which works out to about $9.50 per month. Best if you know you will be around for a while. You save about $66 over the year compared to paying monthly.

You can switch between plans from your subscription settings at any time.

Downloads Why am I being asked to subscribe to the newsletter to download?

Free downloads are a perk for Friends of JWP, and being a Friend means being subscribed to our newsletter. The newsletter is also how we let you know about new printables, seasonal content, and what is happening on the site, so it goes hand in hand.

If you would rather not receive the newsletter, you can still purchase items individually, or become a Supporter (Supporters can unsubscribe from the newsletter without losing access).

Downloads How do I download a free printable?

Once you are logged in as a Friend (free registered + newsletter subscribed) or a Supporter:

  1. Find the printable you want.
  2. Click the printable to open its page.
  3. Click the Download free button.
  4. The file will download to your device. Most printables are PDFs.

If you do not see a Download free button and instead see a price, that means the printable is a Supporter-only item, or you may not be logged in. Try logging in first and refreshing the page.

Downloads How do I purchase a single premium printable?

You do not have to be a Supporter to enjoy premium printables. You can buy any one of them individually.

  1. Find the printable you want.
  2. Click it to open the printable page.
  3. Click the Purchase button.
  4. You will be taken through a quick checkout.
  5. After payment, the download starts automatically and a copy is saved to your Orders section so you can re-download it any time.

If you find yourself buying several premium printables a month, becoming a monthly Supporter is usually cheaper.

Downloads I downloaded something before. How do I download it again?

Everything you have ever downloaded or purchased is saved in your account so you can grab it again any time.

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Go to your Home Base dashboard.
  3. Click Downloads & Orders (or just Downloads).
  4. Find the item in the list and click Download again.
Downloads My download is not working. What do I do?

A few things to try, in order:

  1. Make sure you are logged in. The download button will not work if you are signed out.
  2. Try a different browser. Sometimes browser extensions or pop-up blockers interfere with downloads.
  3. Check your downloads folder. The file may have downloaded without showing a notification.
  4. Try downloading again from Home Base > Downloads & Orders. Every purchase or download is saved there.

If none of that works, write to hello@jwprintables.com with the name of the printable and what is happening, and we will get you sorted.

Downloads What is the 90-day perk?

The 90-day perk is a special set of exclusive Supporter printables that unlocks after you have been a Supporter for 90 days. Think of it as a thank-you gift for sticking with us.

You can see your progress toward unlocking it from your Home Base dashboard. There is a little progress bar that shows how many days you have left.

When the 90 days are up, an entire batch of exclusive printables unlocks at once. Then they are yours for as long as you are a Supporter.

Rewards How do I use bookmarks (favorites)?

Bookmarks let you save printables so you can find them again later. Think of them as your personal collection of "things I want to come back to."

To bookmark a printable:

  1. Make sure you are logged in. (Guests cannot bookmark.)
  2. Find any printable on the site.
  3. Click the heart icon on the printable card or page.
  4. The heart fills in to show it is saved.

To view all of your bookmarks:

  1. Log in.
  2. Go to your Home Base dashboard.
  3. Click the Favorites section.

To remove a bookmark, click the filled heart again and it empties out.

Rewards How do I use collections?

Collections are a step up from bookmarks. They let you organize the printables you save into themed groups, like "Memorial 2026," "For my niece," or "Family worship ideas."

To create a collection:

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Go to your Home Base dashboard.
  3. Click the Collections section.
  4. Click Create a new collection.
  5. Give it a name and click save.

To add a printable to a collection:

  1. Find any printable on the site.
  2. Click the Add to collection button or icon.
  3. Choose the collection you want to add it to, or create a new one on the spot.

Your collections live in your Home Base and stay there as long as your account is active.

Rewards What are points for and how do I earn them?

Points are a fun way to earn a 24-hour Supporter Pass without paying for one. You earn points by being active on the site.

Common ways to earn points:

  • Verify your email (one-time bonus)
  • Complete your profile (one-time bonus)
  • Leave verified reviews on printables you have downloaded
  • Refer a friend who registers and verifies their email
  • Download printables consistently (download streaks earn points)

Once you reach 750 points, you can redeem them for a 24-hour Supporter Pass that unlocks the full library for a day. Your points reset to zero after each redemption.

Check your point balance any time on your Home Base dashboard.

Rewards How do I leave a review?

Reviews help other brothers and sisters know what to expect from a printable, and they help us know what is working.

To leave a review:

  1. You must have downloaded the printable first. Reviews require a verified download.
  2. Open the printable page.
  3. Scroll to the Reviews tab.
  4. Click Write a review.
  5. Choose a star rating and write a short note about how you used it.
  6. Submit.

Your review will show a "verified download" badge automatically. After 20 verified reviews, you earn a free premium printable download as a thank-you.

Rewards How do I follow a creator or writer?

Following a creator or writer means you will be notified by email when they publish something new.

  1. Visit any creator profile page (you can find them at /creators/) or writer profile.
  2. Click the Follow button near their name.
  3. You will start receiving notifications for their new content.

To unfollow, go back to their profile and click Following, which will unfollow them. You can manage all of your follows from your Home Base dashboard.

Account How do I change my email address or password?

You can update both from your account settings.

  1. Log in.
  2. Go to your Home Base dashboard.
  3. Click the Account section (sometimes called Account Settings).
  4. Update your email address or password.
  5. Click save.

If you change your email, we will send a confirmation link to the new address. You need to click that link to finalize the change.

Account I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

No problem.

  1. Go to the Login page.
  2. Click Forgot password.
  3. Enter the email address you registered with.
  4. Check your inbox for a reset link.
  5. Click the link and choose a new password.

If the email does not arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder. If it still has not arrived, write to hello@jwprintables.com.

Account How do I change which notification emails I receive?

You can turn individual notification emails on or off from your account.

  1. Log in.
  2. Go to your Home Base dashboard.
  3. Click the Notifications section.
  4. Toggle each type of email on or off.

Notifications you can toggle include: new content from creators you follow, streak nudges, points milestones, 24-hour pass expiry, and renewal reminders.

Some emails are required (account confirmations, payment receipts, password resets) and cannot be turned off while your account is active.

Account I unsubscribed by mistake. How do I get my free downloads back?

This is a common one and an easy fix.

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Go to your Home Base dashboard.
  3. Click the Notifications section.
  4. Click Resubscribe to the newsletter.

Your Friend-of-JWP status is restored right away and you can download free printables again.

Account How do I delete my account?

If you want to delete your account entirely, write to us at hello@jwprintables.com and we will take care of it.

Before you go, just know that you can also simply unsubscribe from the newsletter or cancel your Supporter membership without deleting anything. That way if you ever come back, your favorites, collections, and history are still there.

Account How do I update my display name or profile?

Your display name is what shows on reviews, comments, and follows.

  1. Log in.
  2. Go to your Home Base dashboard.
  3. Click the Account section.
  4. Update your display name or other profile details.
  5. Click save.
Troubleshooting I am not receiving emails from JW Printables.

A few things to check:

  1. Check your spam or junk folder. Our emails sometimes end up there, especially the first time.
  2. Add hello@jwprintables.com to your contacts or mark one of our emails as "not spam." This helps future emails come through.
  3. Check that you used the right email address when you registered. A typo is easy to miss.
  4. Check that your email provider is not blocking us. Some providers (especially work email) block bulk senders.

If you have done all of that and still nothing, write to hello@jwprintables.com from the address you registered with and we will look into it.

Troubleshooting The site is showing weird ads. I thought you said no ads?

Ads only show to guests (not logged in) and to registered users who are not Supporters. Supporters, Creators, and Writers never see ads.

If you are logged in as a Supporter and still seeing ads:

  1. Try logging out and back in.
  2. Clear your browser cache.
  3. Confirm your Supporter membership is active under Home Base > Subscription.

If the ad itself was inappropriate, we want to know. Ads are served by an automated network, so we do not personally choose what shows. But we can block ads by category or advertiser. Send us a quick note describing what you saw and we will block it going forward.

Troubleshooting A printable I downloaded looks wrong when I print it.

Most issues with printing come from the print settings, not the file itself.

  1. Open the PDF in a real PDF reader (Adobe Acrobat Reader, Apple Preview), not a browser preview.
  2. In the print dialog, set the page size to match the printable (usually US Letter for US users, A4 for everywhere else).
  3. Set scaling to 100% or Actual size, not "Fit to page" (which can shrink the design).
  4. If the printable says it is for borderless printing, check that your printer supports it.

If the file itself looks broken (missing graphics, weird characters, blank pages), the file may not have downloaded correctly. Try downloading it again from Home Base > Downloads & Orders.

Troubleshooting I cannot find a specific printable I saw before.

A few ways to find it:

  1. Use the search bar at the top of the site. Try a few different words (for example, "memorial" or "convention").
  2. Check your Favorites or Collections if you bookmarked it.
  3. Check your Downloads & Orders if you downloaded it before.
  4. Browse by category from the Printables page.
