Terms of Use

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or purchase a membership on JW Printables. By using the site, you represent that you are 18 years of age or older.

2. Accounts and account responsibility

When you create an account on JW Printables, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and current information when creating your account.
• Keep your password secure and not share it with others.
• Notify us immediately at hello@jwprintables.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• Use the site under one account per person. Sharing an account between multiple individuals is prohibited.

We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from your failure to safeguard your account credentials.

3. Permitted use of printables and content

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, JW Printables grants you a personal, limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to download, print, and use printables and other content from the site for the following purposes only:

• Personal use. Printing for use within your own household.
• Gifting. Printing and giving physical copies as gifts to brothers and sisters in your congregation or wider community.
• Ministry use. Printing for distribution at weddings, baptisms, assemblies, congregation events, family worship, pioneer meetings, and similar non-commercial settings.
• Sharing previews online. Posting preview images of printables to social media (Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook, etc.), with credit to JW Printables clearly indicated and a link back to jwprintables.com where possible.

All other uses are prohibited unless explicitly authorized in writing by JW Printables.

4. Prohibited use

You may not, under any circumstances:

• Resell, redistribute, or otherwise commercially exploit any printable, file, article, game, tool, or other content obtained from JW Printables, whether free or paid.
• Copy, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on any printable, article, game, tool, or other content on the site.
• Share, redistribute, or upload printable files to other websites, file-sharing platforms, cloud storage shared with non-members, or any other location where others could access them without becoming a member of JW Printables themselves.
• Use printables for commercial purposes, including but not limited to selling them, using them as products or merchandise, including them in commercial packaging, or using them in any for-profit context.
• Use the site or its content to compete with JW Printables or to develop a competing platform.
• Attempt to access, scrape, harvest, or extract data, files, or content from the site through automated means, bots, scrapers, or any tool other than the intended user interface.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to circumvent any access control, paywall, or technical protection on the site.
• Use the site for any unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, or harassing purpose.
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with JW Printables, JW Creators, or JW Writers.
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any code intended to damage, disable, or impair the site or any user's access to it.
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the site or the servers and networks that host it.
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent membership limits, refund policies, or any restriction imposed by JW Printables.
• Use any content from JW Printables in a way that misrepresents the values or beliefs of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Violation of any of these prohibitions may result in immediate termination of your account, revocation of all access (including free access), and permanent ban from the site.

5. Intellectual property

All content available on JW Printables, including but not limited to printables, articles, games, tools, illustrations, photographs, text, designs, logos, graphics, code, and the overall look and feel of the site, is the property of JW Printables, its content contributors, or its licensors, and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

The license granted to you under these Terms does not transfer ownership of any content to you. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by JW Printables and its content contributors.

The JW Printables name, logo, and all related branding are trademarks of JW Printables. You may not use these trademarks without our prior written permission.

6. JW Creator and JW Writer content

JW Printables hosts content contributed by JW Creators (printables) and JW Writers (articles and editorial content). The following terms apply to contributed content.

JW Creator content (printables, designs, illustrations)

• The Creator retains copyright in their original work.
• By submitting content to JW Printables, the Creator grants JW Printables a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, distribute, market, and sublicense the content to members of the site, including through the Supporter membership.
• The Creator may continue to sell or distribute the same content elsewhere (for example, on Etsy or their own shop) without restriction.
• The license granted to JW Printables remains in effect for as long as the content is published on the site.

JW Writer content (articles, editorial pieces, Good Things content)

By submitting written content to JW Printables, the Writer assigns and transfers all copyright and other intellectual property rights in the work to JW Printables. This is a full assignment of rights, not a license. JW Printables becomes the legal owner of the work upon acceptance and payment.

• The Writer is paid for the work as described in the JW Writer Earnings Guide.
• After payment, JW Printables holds full rights to publish, modify, edit, distribute, sublicense, and otherwise use the work without further compensation to the Writer.
• The Writer may not republish, sell, or distribute the same work or substantially similar content on other platforms after assignment.
• The Writer waives any moral rights they may have in the work to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Representations by contributors

By submitting any content to JW Printables, Creators and Writers represent and warrant that:

• The content is their original work, or they have obtained all necessary rights and permissions from any third-party sources.
• The content does not infringe any third party's copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights.
• The content does not contain unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or misleading material.

JW Printables reserves the right to remove any contributed content at any time, at its sole discretion.

7. User conduct

You agree to use the site in a respectful and lawful manner. When interacting with other users (through comments, questions, reviews, or any other community feature), you agree not to:

• Post content that is harassing, abusive, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or hateful.
• Post content that promotes or facilitates illegal activity.
• Post content that misrepresents your identity or affiliation.
• Post spam, advertising, or solicitations unrelated to the site's purpose.
• Post content that misrepresents the values or beliefs of Jehovah's Witnesses.

We reserve the right to remove any user-submitted content at our sole discretion and to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these conduct standards.

8. Termination of access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, and revoke your access to the site, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or for any other reason we deem appropriate.

Upon termination:

• Your access to all paid content, including any active Supporter membership, ends immediately.
• No refund will be issued for any unused portion of a paid membership.
• Any content you have already downloaded remains subject to the license restrictions in Section 3.
• Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will continue to apply.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT, FEATURES, AND SERVICES OFFERED THROUGH IT ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JW Printables disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
• Warranties that the site will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
• Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or timeliness of any content on the site.
• Warranties that any defects in the site will be corrected.

You acknowledge that you use the site at your own risk.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JW Printables, its owners, operators, contributors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with:

• Your use of, or inability to use, the site or any content on it.
• Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your account, data, or content.
• Any errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies in any content on the site.
• Any loss or damage resulting from your reliance on any content on the site.
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the site.
• Your printing, sharing, gifting, or other use of printables obtained from the site.

This includes, without limitation, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses, even if JW Printables has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

In no event shall JW Printables' total liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the site exceed the amount you have paid to JW Printables in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred dollars ($100), whichever is less.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless JW Printables, its owners, operators, contributors, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:

• Your use of the site.
• Your violation of these Terms.
• Your violation of any third party's rights, including intellectual property rights.
• Any content you submit, post, or share on the site.

12. Changes to these terms

JW Printables reserves the right to update these Terms of Use at any time. The current version is always available on this page, with the effective date listed at the top.

Continued use of the site after a change indicates acceptance of the updated Terms. You are encouraged to review this page periodically.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the site shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
