Do you remember last year’s convention? We do! It was such a powerful & encouraging program, one that brought many of us to tears.
From the drama about the family who were reunited with a grandpa and child in the new world, to a dramatic video series about friends reflecting in the midst of what looked like the start of the great tribulation -there was so much to take in and we’re so appreciative to have been able to take in so much spiritual food.
A few months after the conventions ended, many of the video were uploaded to the Jehovah’s Witnesses Broadcasting website (tv.jw.org) so we could watch them again at our leisure.
A few weeks ago, for our family worship, we revisited the videos “Pursue what builds loyalty” and “Avoid what erodes loyalty.”
In those videos there’s a young girl who talks about her struggle with negative thoughts and the video illustrates how a sister offered suggestions to help her to conquer them and keep them in check. One way she did this was to create a list of scriptural thoughts vs. negative thoughts. How Jehovah feels vs. how we may feel.
Since there are so many of us who struggle with negative thoughts, we created a special worksheet that can be used to battle those negative thoughts with spiritual ones. We hope it will be an encouragement to any who like this sister struggle with negative thoughts.
As always, this printable is available for personal, non-commercial use only.
