How often do we go to a friend or family member first when something is weighing on us? There’s nothing wrong with leaning on each other, but if Jehovah is always the last one we turn to, who are we really putting our trust in?
Jehovah is real and he communicates with us through his word. That’s not just a nice thought, it’s literally how it works. When we sit down with our Bible and actually study, when we pray and then give him the chance to respond, we find answers. Maybe not always the ones we expected, but the ones we needed.
We just have to give Jehovah the opportunity to talk to us first. (Ephesians 6:18)
