This has been a long time coming! We posted a preview of this little card on Instagram a few days ago and now we’re finally ready to have it available for download.
This is a really cool elder appreciation card that looks like a suit and tie.
It takes about 10 minutes to pull together and opens up so you can write a message on the inside.
What we love about this most is that every aspect of the card is like an actual suit.
The jacket flaps open, you can lift the tie up to see the buttons underneath and there’s even a cute little pocket on the shirt.
This isn’t limited to just Elders of course. You can give it to anyone, a brother, a pioneer, a little young brother who might like how interactive the card is -anyone!
It’s free to download and use for personal use (as always) as many times as you like.
How To Assemble
Print out all of the sheets on cardstock. You’ll need 2 sheets of paper.
Cut out all of the pieces as pictured below. There’s 3 tie colors available, so pick the one you like!
Next, you’ll want to score and fold down the collar of the shirt.
Attach the tie under the collar by just gluing in place at the top!
Next, score and fold the suit pieces. Using a ruler will help you keep the score line straight.
You want to score where the dark color meets the light color and fold as pictured below!
All that’s left is to glue the pieces on to the card! Start by first gluing the largest flap on.
Apply glue to the white section as pictured below.
Then attach to the edge of the card in such a way that when folded down, the dark side of that flap is facing up.
Next apply glue to the inner flap for the next part of the suit jacket, as shown below.
You’ll be applying glue in a different place from the first flap (on the side that is all white.)
Attach in such a way that when folded down, the darker side faces up.
Repeat on the second side, and you’re all done! You can write a message on the inside and give this as a gift to anyone!
As usual, please do not use these for commercial use or resale. They are intended for personal use only. Also, please do not link directly to the download but refer them to this entire post instead. Thank you!

We LOVES these! We started making dinner for a different Elder Family each month and these are the icing on top! My children enjoy so much picking which tie for each elder and coloring the shirt to match sometimes and signing their names! Thank you so much!

Thank you so much! They were perfect for place setting for our Elder Appreciation Dinner! We set one on the plates of each of our Elders. Everyone loved them and they were easy to make! I used an adorable cardstock from Walmart and they turned out perfect!
