DIY Convention Badge Holders!

Today’s printable is for those who like add a little extra flair to their convention attire!

If you see our posts on Instagram, you’ll have gotten a sneak peek of this badge a few days ago!

This printable was requested by two sisters and we loved the idea so much, we knew we had to bring it to life! And so we have.

A DIY convention badge that takes less than 2 minutes to assemble and put together! Thanks Valerie & Katelyn for the wonderful suggestion!

The badge holders are easy to assemble and removable so you can swap out designs between different days if you like.

We’ve included 11 different designs that can be downloaded and used. (Scroll down for download information!)

All you need to create this fun DIY is a convention badge, some cardstock, our printable template and glue. This will not work with hanging Lapel badges unfortunately, however it will work with any standard badge holder. Our badge holders we got from the brothers at our Kingdom Hall and they work perfectly with this!

How To Assemble

Cut out the printable template and score along all of the dotted lines to easier folding.

Fold all of the edges as pictured below.

Take the convention badge holder & tuck the top flap of the template into the
badge holder as pictured. Tuck it behind the badge insert so the flap doesn’t show.

fold the two outer flaps inward and apply glue to those flaps, even the skinny parts!

Fold the bottom flap up so that the glue holds it in place.

All done! Now you have a beautiful design to surround your badge holder!

How To Disassemble/Swap Out Designs

Lift the flap up and out of the badge holder.

Slide your badge out! And swap with a new design!

We hope you and your family & friends enjoy these badges!
We’d love to see any photos you have if you’re able to use them at your convention!

As always, this printable is available for personal, non-commercial use only.

  1. Hey, I downloaded this, and am using a badge that I got from the hall, and it doesn’t seem to fit the outside? And it fits perfectly on the card itself, but it covers a good half of the words… Not, sure if I did something wrong…

  2. I stumbled across this website today and absolutely LOVE it! Thank you so much for supply all of these printable for free. It’s such a blessing. I can’t wait to share with all the friends here in Columbia, SC!

  3. I just printed two of these for my sons for our convention this weekend… They love them!
However, I printed and assembled them before reading these comments… The frames printed small like the comment above mentioned but it worked out ok since I have hanging badge holders.
I just put the frames around the badge card and them slipped the whole thing inside of the plastic badge holders. The frame does cover up the 2017 alittle but not too bad. Also, I used regular printer paper as I do not have card stock, which probably would work better I’m sure but the printer paper worked ok.
Thank you so much for these free printables!

  4. 5. How beautiful when people use their talents to give glory to Jah! And then share them with their spiritual family at no cost! You give the more happiness in giving a tangible meaning! I just stumbled into your website so have not made anything as of yet but I was compelled to thank you already! Ágape love….

  6. Dear Brothers and Sisters,

The convention badge holders are great and thank you for all you hard work, but do you have any that a 7 year old little boy would like?

    • Hi Sherri!

The badge holders that we designed come with 11 different designs in a variety of colors. If you download the printable, I’m sure you’ll find some colors and themes suitable for a little boy in the mix. Agape!

  7. Hi! I am so happy I found your site. What a treat! I am looking for a printable program of sorts so that I am able to print my name/congregation on my badge using word. Our brother who had the program sadly passed away and I don’t know who else might have one. Do you have something similar to that?
