Who is your favorite Bible Character? Some of ours are Samuel, Peter & Elijah!
How do we pick our favorite Bible Character? Your favorite Bible character may be someone you admire, someone with life experiences similar to yours or someone who you would like to strive to be like. They are someone you learned about and came to love.
Today’s printable is a tool that will help you to dive deeper into the life of your favorite Bible Character to deepen your love, knowledge and appreciation of their faithful example as recorded in the Bible -and to follow it!
More than that, this printable will probably help you to find several NEW favorite Bible characters as well!
These characters were men & women “with feelings like ours,” real people who lived real lives and had real relationships with those around them! So we designed this set of worksheets to help us to get to know each Bible character as a real person and to really pull them off the pages of the Bible.
These “Character Study” sheets allow you to (1) Identify the birth, death, nationality and locations this character lived in their life (2) write down who their friends and enemies were and why! (3) make note of qualities the bible character you are learning about that you’d like to imitate and qualities you’d want to avoid
(4) Take note of important events in that characters life and make notations of where in the bible that even is recorded (5) explain the character’s role in Jehovah’s purpose (or if they aren’t a good character, maybe take note of how they were unable to thwart Jehovah’s grand purpose)
(6) Write down any questions you specifically have about that character or their life (7) Take note of what about that character’s life that stood out to you (8) sometimes it’s hard to grasp Bible genealogy within a family because it’s always lined up in any sort of order, so we’ve included a “family genealogy” page where you can organize the character’s immediate family
(9) in addition to the genealogy page we also have sheets that allow you to have or insight on the type of relationships the character had with their family members and children
(10) and finally, a page for additional notes just in case the following sheets didn’t have enough space!
