A Little Note From Us
This activity is inspired by an adorable post on Instagram by two young sisters who created their own tracts about their view (and the Bible’s view) of magic.
When I saw it, I thought it was brilliant! And ran the idea by the family to see if we could recreate it. And so we did!
First, please don’t use these tracts to place in the ministry! This is not intended to be used as real tracts, not even to be given out at school or to friends. The organization has created the tools we need to preach with and worked hard to create those materials for us, so please use them
This is a set of 4 Tracts about 4 different subjects:
- How do you view magic?
- How do you view violence?
- How do you view Christmas?
- How do you view money?
This is an activity that can help teens, pre-teens and little kids start to think about the reasons why the Bible says certain things are wrong (or right) and learn how to search the bible for scriptures to back up those beliefs!
It’s fun because you get to actually design a tract like the brothers at Bethel do, but also a great way to start learning how to take personal study to a deeper level even at a young age.
This can be used during family worship, as an on the road activity, or to print out for a teen hangout or play-date activity.
How To Assemble The Tracts
Assembling the tracts is easy, all you have to do is to print the downloads below on both sides of a single piece of paper.
You can use the automatic double print tool (if your printer has this) or you can manually feed the paper in so that it prints on both sides. We found it easier to manually feed the paper in since our printer double prints a little awkwardly.
After printing, just fold each sheet of paper in half and you’re all done! Easy.
