Jehovah made everything. That includes us. So when He sets the standard for what’s right and wrong, it’s not arbitrary. He knows exactly how we’re built and what will happen when we step outside the boundaries He’s given us.
Sometimes we don’t even realize what those consequences are until we’re already in them. And looking back we can usually see it. The thing we thought would be fine, wasn’t. The line we thought didn’t matter, did.
We do best when we stay within what Jehovah says is right. Not because we’re forced to, but because He made us and He knows. Trusting that is just wisdom.
