Today we’ve created a free printable file that will allow you to create a mini public witnessing cart! This cart has a little compartment in the back to stick candies or other small gifts in and stands upright even with goodies in the back.
The images of the magazines, books and tracts are mini replica’s of the original books so that we don’t breach the copyright of the JW.org website. But the publications are so small you can’t tell much of a difference!
This is great gift idea for international conventions, to give to pioneers or publishers, to surprise someone who regularly works the cart or even to bring some joy to a young child’s day. You can gift this to literally anyone for any reason and gifting it is as simple as placing a few candies in the back. This would be AMAZING as a bible based party favor too!
Putting this adorable little cart together takes less than 15 minutes and only involves scissors, glue and some elbow grease! We’ll outline the steps to putting it together below to give you an idea of how easy it is to create!
To begin, print out the sheet (on cardstock please!) that you downloaded above and cut out all of the pieces. You should have 6 individually cut out pieces total to use for assembling the cart together.
Folding the Bible Teach books, magazines and tracts is easy. You fold all the corners outward twice until you get a little box.
All 3 rows of publications should look something like this on the back once folded. Take some glue and apply to this what area on the back to glue onto the witnessing cart panel.
Each section fits to a particular space on the cart, so remember to glue them in the right spaces!
The witnessing cart itself has little flaps that need to be folded in half as pictured above. The fold should take place against the cart and along the white line you see pictured above.
Glue the inside white space of these flaps so that you have a double sided black surface and no white is exposed.
The cart basket, which will go on the back of the cart, folds like the photo above. It should have a bottom and a hollow top. The wheels should face downward.
Included is also a black strip, which should be glued to the white back of the witnessing cart so that no white shows and it all looks uniform! If you don’t mind having a white backing to your cart, you can skip this part.
After you glue the black backing on to the cart’s reverse side, you can then attach the wheel basket to the bottom of the cart. IMPORTANT: The wheels should be level with the bottom of the cart section which holds the books. If the wheels and cart bottom (it’s a gray U shape that looks something like a kickstand) aren’t even and level the cart itself may not stand upright.
And when you’re done it should look something like this!
We hope you enjoy and get much use out of this free printable!
