Some things we’re facing right now will not be resolved in this system of things. They’ll be fixed in paradise, or they require a solution that simply isn’t in our hands. That’s not a failure on our part. It’s just the reality of the times we’re living in. Powerlessness in this world is not uncommon.

But Jehovah doesn’t leave us there. He promises to help in three specific ways. He will make sure we feel seen and supported. He will give us a peace and a strength beyond what we could produce on our own to bear it. And sometimes, in His wisdom and timing, He removes it entirely, whether now or in the future. That part is up to Him.

As Jesus said, who among us can add a single hour to our life by worrying? None of us. Worry changes nothing except how we feel while we wait.

So when something feels mountain-sized and immovable, we don’t have to fix it. We just have to trust the one who is still in control of everything. Let Jehovah calm your heart first. Then leave the rest to Him.
